Nova Racing Team is the Formula Student team of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), where engineering passion and innovation come together to create a high-performance, single-seat combustion race car. Every year, a group of dedicated students from diverse academic backgrounds design, build, and compete with our vehicle on some of the most prestigious tracks in Europe.
But our mission goes far beyond speed. Formula Student challenges us to deliver a well-rounded engineering and business project—combining technical excellence, manufacturing precision, and strategic thinking in areas like cost, sustainability, and team management.
At Nova Racing Team, we transform classroom knowledge into real-world experience. We work as a united team, overcoming complex challenges and learning what it truly means to engineer under pressure. More than just a race team, we are a launchpad for the next generation of engineers, innovators, and motorsport professionals.
Representing the team we have, a non- profit association that seeks to promote research, development and implementation of various technologies to carry out an ambitious project: design a vehicle capable of competing in races and being able to be marketed.
